Helper class to implement fem element stiffening with muscle activation. NOTE: This was implemented to mimic the behaviour of Stephanie Buchaillard's ANSYS tongue model and is very specialized. Stress-stiffening should be part of the constitutive equation for a muscle material, but it was added on separately for the tongue model. Probably due to limitations of ANSYS. At present, the stiffening effects apply only to volumetric elements
